Information points are available at airports and ports. You can ask where the police or customs posts are located.
The Roissy-Charles de Gaulle Airport’s “zone d’attente”
The Roissy airport transit area (ZAPI 3) is located at 177 rue du Noyer du Chat, 93290 Tremblay-en-France.
To get there by public transport:
- RER B line to Roissy Charles de Gaulle.
- Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 1 – TGV Roissypole stop.
- Take a bus from platform C and ask if it serves the “Rue des Vignes” stop (first stop).
- When you get to the stop, go back along the bus route (with your back to the bus stop, on your left), cross the road. Turn into the small lane on the right (you’ll see the Bobigny judicial court annex from the road).
- You will then see ZAPI 3.
To get there by car:
- From the A1 freeway, take the Charles de Gaulle – Roissy airport junction (green sign).
- Once in the airport zone (yellow sign), follow zone Cargo no. 1.
- At the crossroads, follow Cargo zones no. 1 and 2 – You are now on the Route du Noyer du Chat.
- Continue straight ahead, skirting Cargo zone no. 2, then Cargo zone no. 1.
- At the end of this road, a slight bend to the left.
- The entrance to ZAPI 3 is on the right at this bend.
- Signs have normally been installed in the airport area indicating the Bobigny judicial court annex, which is located at the “zone d’attente”.
The Paris-Orly Airport’s “zone d’attente”
To get there by public transport:
- Go to Denfert Rochereau station (metro line 4 or 6 or RER B); take the Orlybus line to the south terminal (Navigo pass accepted).
- Villejuif station (metro line 7); then take tram line 7 to Orly airport station (Navigo pass accepted).
- Metro line 14 from Paris (Navigo pass accepted).
- Antony station (RER B); take the Orlyval shuttle to the south terminal (€12.10 Navigo pass not accepted).
- Once at the airport, the transit area is located at the far left (when you are facing the airport). Use the “courtesy phone” to call the border police.
To get there by car:
- Go to the south terminal.
